Yes I know it’s a kitchen device but I could not pass up the opportunity to rave about the Nespresso Magimix 190 coffee maker.

For me it’s the best performing and looking nespresso machine out there and avoids all the complicated extra gubbings you get with milk frothing etc It just makes great café quality black coffee (short and long measures) and does it beautifully and consistently every time.

I was sceptical of these ‘cheat’ espresso makers but 18 months on I still love it. It produces great barista style coffee every time. A simple capsule based system that you and your friends will love after dinner.

It’s slim stylish and will take up no room at all on your kitchen counter. Get it in retro cream or red.

About £150 and capsules work out at around 22p.
